Who we are and scope
Interiors by Verified.RealEstate is a brand of A Gen Z Real Estate Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “the Company”). For the personal data we handle through this website, our free tools and our interior projects, the Company is the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”).
This policy explains what we collect, why, how we use and share it, and the rights you have. It applies to verified.realestate and connected pages, our calculators and AI tools, lead and consultation forms, the customer dashboard, and the WhatsApp conversations you have with us.
We are the company responsible for your data. This page tells you, in plain terms, what we do with it and what you can ask us to do.
What we collect
We collect only what we need for the service or tool you are using:
- Contact details: your name, phone number (including your WhatsApp number), email, and city or locality.
- Project details: property type, size, number of rooms, budget range, timelines and design preferences.
- Uploads and photos: room photos, floor plans and documents you share to get a quote or to use a tool.
- Tool inputs: the values you enter into calculators, the style quiz and our AI tools.
- Usage and cookies: device, browser, pages viewed and similar analytics data (see Cookies below).
- Payment metadata: the status and reference of a payment, handled by our payment processor. We do not store your full card details.
Mostly what you give us to get a quote or run a tool, plus basic usage data. We never store your full card number.
Why we collect it and legal basis
We process your data for clearly defined purposes and only on a lawful basis under the DPDP Act, namely your consent or a legitimate use permitted by law:
- Respond to your enquiry and provide a quote or consultation (the purpose for which you approached us).
- Run the free tools and return the results you asked for (consent).
- Deliver and manage your project, including site updates, payments and warranty (to provide the service to you).
- Send service messages about your enquiry or project (legitimate use).
- Send marketing on WhatsApp, email or otherwise, only with your separate, optional consent.
- Keep records and meet legal, tax and fraud-prevention obligations (compliance / legitimate use).
We only use your data for the reason you shared it, or where the law allows. Marketing always needs a separate yes.
Consent and how to withdraw
Where we rely on consent, we ask for it in clear language, for a specific purpose, and you can decline without losing access to the core service you came for. Consent is granular: agreeing to be contacted about your enquiry is separate from agreeing to marketing, which is separate again from agreeing to the use of your project photos.
You can withdraw any consent at any time, and withdrawing is as easy as giving it: use the unsubscribe link, reply STOP on WhatsApp, change the setting in your dashboard, or email grievance@verified.realestate. Withdrawing consent does not affect any processing we carried out before you withdrew.
Yes means yes, and only for what you ticked. You can change your mind any time, just as easily as you agreed.
WhatsApp communications
We use WhatsApp for two different things, and they are kept separate.
- Service messages relate to an enquiry or project you started with us, for example a quote, an appointment, a site update or a warranty response.
- Marketing or broadcast messages (tips, offers and promotions) are sent only if you give a separate, optional opt-in. You can stop them any time by replying STOP.
Messages sent over WhatsApp are also subject to WhatsApp’s own terms and Meta’s processing of message delivery.
We will message you about your own enquiry. We only send offers if you opt in, and replying STOP ends them.
How we share data
We share personal data only as needed, with:
- The execution partner: the independent Verified service provider carrying out your project, so they can design and build it.
- Razorpay: our payment processor, to take and reconcile payments securely.
- AI and infrastructure vendors that power our tools, under contract and only for that purpose.
- Authorities or advisors where the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal data.
Only the people who need it to do the job, our payment processor, and our tool vendors. We never sell your data.
Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose we collected it, or as long as the law requires. Enquiry and lead data is kept while we are in contact and for a reasonable follow-up period; project, contract, invoice and tax records are kept for the statutory periods; tool inputs and uploads are kept for a short window unless they are tied to a project. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
We do not keep your data forever, only as long as we need it or the law says we must.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold and how we process it.
- Correct or complete data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erase data that is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected.
- Nominate someone to exercise your rights if you are unable to.
- Raise a grievance and have it addressed within the timelines set by law.
To exercise a right, email grievance@verified.realestate or use your dashboard. We will verify your identity and respond within the timelines set by law. If you are not satisfied, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
You can see, fix, or delete your data, nominate someone, and complain. Email us or use your dashboard to start.

Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls, encryption in transit, and limits on who can see your data. We take real steps to keep your data safe, and we will tell you if a breach affects you.
Children’s data
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect the personal data of children (under 18) without verifiable parental or guardian consent, as required by the DPDP Act, and we do not target children with marketing or behavioural tracking. If you believe a child has given us data without consent, contact us and we will delete it.

We mainly process your data in India. If a vendor handles it abroad, we make sure it stays protected.
